Richard Johnson knows a thing or two about archery----after all his father Butch is one of only three Americans competing in a fifth olympics this summer.
Richard says anyone can shoot an arrow, but it's what you do with it that determines how good you are..
"Archery is a lot of mental and physical--- he's one of the better ones out there."

(NECN) - Jason Bay may be new to the Boston Red Sox, but he's no stranger to the Sox fan base. He grew up in it.
"I had a Red Sox onesie when I was growing up," the Britich Columbia native told reporters, noting that his father was a diehard Sox fan.
In his bedroom as a kid? Posters of Jim Rice and Carl Yastrzemski.
And Bay remembers his only trip to Fenway as a member of the Red Sox, for the atmosphere - and the rendition of 'Sweet Caroline'. He noted the atmosphere between Fenway Park and Yankee Stadium, where the Pirates visited on the trip, was totally different.

(NECN: Boston, Mass.) - "Fire away."
With those two words, Jason Bay met the Boston media for the first time in a Fenway Park news conference as a member of the Boston Red Sox. Bay says he arrived in Boston after a "sleepless" night, finding out only after the trade deadline passed at 4 p.m. that he had actually been shipped to Boston.
"I didn't know anything more than what everyone was writing," Bay told reporters about how he followed a day that had him reportedly shipped to Tampa at mid-afternoon, before the Boston trade was finalized.

Army changes its mind, Campbell can’t play in NFL

(NECN/ABC) - Caleb Campbell will not get a chance to play for the Detroit Lions because of a change in military policy.
Campbell was a seventh-round draft pick for the Lions in April.
At the time, Army policy would have allowed the West Point graduate to serve as a recruiter if he made the team.
Now the Army is saying that Campbell must serve in active duty until 2010, when he would be eligible to ask for leave to play football.
Any extensive time away from the game would hurt Campbell's chances of playing in the NFL.

(NECN: San Diego) - Tiger Woods is ready. The two-time U.S. Open champion says he feels great as he gets ready for the Open championship that starts Thursday.
The world's top-ranked player has been out of action since undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his left knee after the Masters in April.
Phil Mickelson, who grew up in San Diego and played high school matches at Torrey Pines where the U.S. Open will be held, carries a bit of baggage into this week's national championship. Although Mickelson has won 34 times on the PGA Tour, he is 0-17 at the U.S. Open.
