The one and only

Troy Brown had a way about him. He was just one of those guys who knew how to win. To be reminded that Brown, who was drafted in the eighth round, would be a undrafted free agent in today’s world since the NFL no longer has an eighth round in their draft… it’s remarkable.
I’ll never forget the night sitting at my desk, when the Patriots were huge underdogs and Troy Brown was busy breaking the backs of the overconfident Steelers.
Off the field, he was always just so approachable. Even as his numbers grew and the team’s stock soared off the charts, there was never much of change from Brown. He was always the same guy — really humble and a leader.
You could see it in the Patriots locker room that no one had more respect than Troy Brown, even when his role and playing time diminished in the later years.
Yeah, Belichick put it best when he said Troy is a football player and what a football player he was.
