To win game one of the ALDS, first and foremost the Sox will need to beat the heat at about three o’clock here in tinsel town.  The temp on the field was at about 110.  Seriously, and believe me it felt like about 210.   Forget about it if you wear a sweater, this was not your day.  I ran back to my room before the first pitch to shower.  Game time it’s expected to cool off some, but still high eighties potentially could be the deal which means it could wear down tonight’s starters, Jon Lester and John Lackey. If that is the case - huge advantage to the Angels who arguably have the best bullpen in the game.  The Red Sox have dominated this series in the post season, winning the last nine meetings, however during the year 2008 in the regular season its been all Angels, winning eight of nine.  Not many people are picking the Sox to win this series - understandable, but to do it they will have to keep the score down and win some one run games which unfortunately is the Angels strong suit.  We shall see
