11-1-1

Those numbers translate into “November” for the Boston Bruins. Yes, that’s the team’s record for the month. Call me when they don’t win.
More of the same for the B’s. The Red Wings had no answer for the team’s mixture of young stars and young vets. This effort earned them NHL.com’s Game of the Night status. Oh, and Kesselmania XIII has landed.
Goals from Kessel, Blake Wheeler, Chuck Kobasew and David Krejci kept the lamp lit all night.
I say it every time, but you really need to start watching these games. The B’s have the best announcer of the four major teams in Boston — Jack Edwards — to go with their entertaining style of play. If Andy Brickley ever needs a day off, I say they pair Tommy Heinsohn with Edwards. The booth couldn’t handle that much excitement.
And don’t think that the month of 11-1-1 is the team’s high point.
“We’ve got to keep going and we’ve got to push forward,” Chara said. “We can’t be satisfied with the results we have.”
See. Chara said it. They will push forward.
